First light with open star clusters!
I was in the terrace with my telescope tonight. It was a clear sky, until the Moon rose.
I was able to find the open star clusters M36 and M38 in Auriga and M35 in Gemini! I still failed
to locate M1, the Crab Nebula, but I was able to see these beautiful open star clusters. I spent some
time looking at them.
